BDR Embedded Systems Ltd was founded in the beautiful city of Worcester in 2018. We found that many companies required Embedded Software or Electronics design services for a short period within a project but not enough to take on a full time engineer. After an initial consultaion to find out your exact requirements, we can work autonomously providing interim deliveries as per your needs. What we've done for clients

Proof of Concept PCB

PCB for Proof of Concept

Our client wanted to create a PCB to prove that their comminications idea was feasible. We designed the schematic, layout and organised fabrication and population of this PCB. Tests allowed the client to progress to the next stage of their project.

Alarm System Software

We were asked to develop software to communicate with a number of sensors using a propritary protocol. Alarm and Fault states were conveyed to a Display panel over Ethernet.

End of Line Test

End of Line test software

Our client wanted to test and provision a number of cards simultaneously for maximum throughput

We created both the software and the hardware to allow multiple cards to be tested and have a unique IP address programmed in. Results were then written to a database for audit purposes

Embedded Linux Design

This client had already developed an application running on a Raspberry Pi but wanted to create their own hardware for production purposes. We suggested a suitable ARM device and created a Linux build to allow them to sell their product in larger numbers.
